L’instant poétique

Only an english who is a little bit crazy could have this idea : planting flowers in road’s holes to highlight their bad condition…
Mister Pete Dungey, could you pass on the small road which leads to my studio? Please?

The title of this post was inspired by the name of a nice shop of Lyon where you could find a part of my collection…

Small ideas big impact
29 January 2010

To decorate a house / our house doesn’t have to be complicated, or even expensive … It all begins with a couple of little things here and there, that will make you want to go further.
The magazine “Maison Creative asked me to follow this path on four pages of easy and quick ideas. Here are a few examples.

Inside my home
27 January 2010

Unless you live in Holland, there’s almost no chance that you found those pictures of my house published in “101 Woonideeen“. This is why I decided to share them with you here. And I answer before the question pops up : no, it’s not always this tidy…

Snapshots (2)

Only Marie-Laure found out what my role was in those 2 books : I was the stylist.
the purpose was to present nicely the artist’s creations.
Try to imagine what the picture would look like for example… taken from the top with different accessories (a black tray, a spoon with a red handle, and the whole put down on a wooden desk).
The atmosphere would have been much different.
That’s why each detail matters. Even the croissant you choose … That’s true!!! … Even the way it’s been bitten!
This part of my job brings me lots of joy!
It also remembers me when, as a little girl, I was used to create installations just to look at them.

But obviously, all of this means nothing without a good photographer…

LTA just published two new books : “Paris Vintage” by Hélène Le Berre and “Kawaï” by Christine Nivet. I am not the author, of course I’m not the photographer either, and none of my creations is featured in this books…
So, why do I have to say about??? Can you guess?
